Do you feel overwhelmed today? Do you
feel like there is no way out for you?
Someone hurt you so bad, that there is
no hope of ever being reconciled.....
Psalm 42:11 (NKJV)
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within
me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance
and my God.
The title of this Psalm is 'Yearning for God in the midst of distress'
The writer of this Psalm was in distress, concerned and troubled. Yet, he says to his
own soul to hope in God, since God is the help of his countenance...
The late Janny Grein, wrote the words to a
most amazing song, an excerpt from which
appears below:
I know God can heal all things
Broken lives and broken wings
Only He can mend a heart
That this world has torn apart
Broken lives and broken wings
Only He can mend a heart
That this world has torn apart
(Chorus)
As the seasons make their turn
There’s a lesson here to learn
Broken wings take time to mend
Before they learn to fly again
On the breath of God they’ll soar
They’ll be stronger than before
Don’t look back into the past
What was fire now is ash
Let it all be dead and gone
The time is now for movin’ on...*
As the seasons make their turn
There’s a lesson here to learn
Broken wings take time to mend
Before they learn to fly again
On the breath of God they’ll soar
They’ll be stronger than before
Don’t look back into the past
What was fire now is ash
Let it all be dead and gone
The time is now for movin’ on...*
From the lyrics it seems that Janny too went through distress,
anguish and pain. Yet she looks to Jesus her countenance lifter.
Broken hearts, emotions, dreams they all take time to mend
and in this healing process, they also become stronger
and more powerful.
God knows each of us personally, He knows what we go through
each minute of each day. Take your hurt, pain and broken dream
to Him right now in prayer. He is waiting to touch you and heal you
like only He can....
The time is now, right now for moving forward with God. Trust Him
with your deepest sorrow and see how He comes through in your
life and turns everything around to His glory.
Stay blessed and focus on the God of your countenance, Jesus Christ
the Redeemer.
Greetings
